Corrado VR6 and Passat VR6 break pads - is it the same?

As I have wore out my rear brake pads on my 35i Passat GT VR6 I was wondering if anyone know if these as the same on the Corrado VR6?

 

(As the Corrado still is in a "buildup" face of it's life I though't I'd put the pads over on the Passat).....if they fit that is.

If it is a 1994 > 1997 Passat VR6, according to AVS Parts they are the same Rear Pads.

hmmm, mine is a 92 but shouldn't those be the same? (the 94-97 is only a "facelift" AFAIK)
