ron16v 0 Posted August 2, 2009 have been doing alot of reading on here about dead top mounts and vibration i have been out today and had the car tracked and wheels balanced but the vibration is still there 50-60 mph ish would worn top mounts cause the vibration? i have checked lower arms bearings antirollbar drop links engine mounts nothing has excessive play after looking at post how to identify knackered top mounts i figure mine are poo but would this cause the vibration i am getting cheers ron Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ron16v 0 Posted August 2, 2009 just in case anyone is interested i posted a bit prematurely i had to buy some wheel bolts today as mine had 17mm 19mm and lockers with no key so bought 8 bolts purley for no reason at all i thought to put all 8 on the front wheels and put the ratty 17mm ones left on the rear just been out for a bit of a play (see what i could pick on 325i bmw) the vibration has completly gone and the bmw lost his bottle on the roundabout :salute: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
