zaidi 0 Posted August 6, 2009 Hi guys, dont know much about turbo specs. But need to know if this turbo spec is any good for the 2.9VR6. T3T4 T04E .50AR and .63 hotside Basically need to know at what RPM will this turbo start spooling, and when will it choke, and how much psi it would produce at say 4k rpm. Also considering just the aspect ratio and stuff, If this is a rubbish turbo for the VR6, what specification would be best for reliable 300whp on a vr6. Im confused because there are so many different specs for the T3T4 turbo, how do you go about choosing the right one. Basically im trying to source the turbo and stuff myself for the VR6. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 7, 2009 Yes that turbo will work and is quite a popular choice for the VR6. Full boosts quite early, around 3000rpm, but the 0.63 hotside and small turbine wheel will choke the top end. For your power goals, I'd say that is ideal. What about the other stuff?
