andy 0 Posted August 10, 2009 I've had a rattle in my passenger door for a while, I took off the door card and membrane yesterday and have found the problem but I don't know what my options are for rectifying it! The rear 'arm' that actuates the glass has a loose part, specifically the 'bearing' that sits in the channel is loose on the arm. The bearing isn't particularly loose in the channel but it is loose on the arm. Is this removable/replaceable? Any help much appreciated.
Jim Bowen 1 Posted August 10, 2009 do you mean the white plastic bits? they are just a ball and cup fitment. does the arm pull out of it easily?
andy 0 Posted August 10, 2009 It looks like a metal bearing/wheel that runs in the channel that attaches to the bottom of the glass itself. This bearing/wheel is riveted (possibly) to the actuator arm but is loose as hell. The front one is ok. I can't see any plastic bits to be honest, anyone got Etka? andy 0 Posted August 10, 2009 Right..... Had a look here, brilliant guide with photos http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewto ... dow+roller this is the exact problem I have, it would seem mine are so far gone that the plastic part is no longer present, just the metal inards! Cheap and easy fix it would seem. Thanks all
