Never seen one of those before......

Hi all, just had one of those rare moments : when you see a car that you never new existed.......I use to love XJS's ever since my old man had one for a short period when I was younger, style icon I think, but never have seen or knew they made an estate.

 

The one I saw today was so cool, loved it, got me looking on piston heads

I think they were one-offs or special coachbuilt aftermarket jobs, like hearses :lol:

There's one or two older XJS's built as estates too,

just wrong, jags should be big saloons or coupes, not mondeo based either!

what ....no way, the one I saw was a beaut. It looked so different and sleek.

Called the Lynx Eventer and made by Lynx, converted quite a few of them. IIRC they used the rear window from a Citroen Ami.

 

They were rumoured to be trying somthing similar with the XK8 but I don't think it ever came to fruition
