aide 0 Posted October 7, 2009 you measure the one you have on at the moment, if it's non in/ around 52mm then it's the smaller 40mm one in summary the larger one = better top end, thinner one = better low end, its all about gas speed i'm fairly sure the TB trick you've heard is for the 1.8 8v golfs there was an aftermarket TB called the webber fire breather, basically a large single butterfly, but you hardly ever see these anymore... i missed out on one a few months ago :( Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
