VRSICK 0 Posted October 13, 2009 Help needed...?? I hear a loud whistling noise when i press the brakes while 'reversing'. It doesnt whistle when pressing the brakes when driving forward, only when reversing and its bloody annoying. The minute i take my foot off the brakes while reversing, the whistling goes. So its definately something to do with me brakes but i dont understand why it only happens when i reverse  Any suggestions???? Thanks
mimjed 0 Posted October 13, 2009 hmmmm odd.....stone or likewise on/in the back side of calliper?? might be dragging when youre reversing and trying to free when youre going forward?? wheel off and have a butchers. see what that brings, if no clues few pics maybe? check disc for wear, and give the wheel a wiggle when you jack up to check wheel bearing
