funny squeek from the engine?? mouse??

hi, i just bought a vr6 with 130k on the clock, it just had a new head gasket and new chain guides.

 

it had not been used for a while and when first started made a high pitched whine/squeek from the left/ drivers side of the engine to the side of the engine cover.. i think its an oil brether around that area.. got better after a long drive but still does not sound rite??

 

any ideas? :D

serpentine belt tennsioner bearing needs sorting mate !!

How do I sort that and it it expensive?

well to see if it is that first i would spray some wd40 into the bearing first if it quietens down then it that

there is a howto change the bearing in the wiki but you could also replace the whole thing for aroung £30-40 quid with a part from ebay
