Jonny777 0 Posted October 26, 2009 Right, just wondering how much money its going to set me back to convert my 92 2.0 valver Rado from 4x100 to 5x100. And what exact parts i'm going to need. New to Rado's so havent got a clue. Need to see if its affordable so if you've done it to yours, let me know how much the conversion set you back. :)
mimjed 0 Posted October 26, 2009 depends what you want to achieve, if its just fitting different wheels then just buy hub/wheel adapters. ebay or wanted on the forums.

Jonny777 0 Posted October 26, 2009 Fair cop. Did search beforehand, was just curious if anyone had a ballpark figure of how much i should set aside if i wanted to do it. As that didnt turn up in the search. Will try that though. Cheers.

daves16v 1 Posted October 30, 2009 Rough cost for my conversion - VR calipers and carriers - £50 VR bearing housing/CV joints/hubs/drive shafts (although you only need the hubs and CV's) - £70 pair Front bearings - £60 Front discs - £56 4 stud ABS rings (for modifying) - £32 Front pads - £25 CV boot clips - £4 Rear bearings - £15 Rear pads - £18 Rear discs - £42 M14 bolts - ? 5x100 alloys + tyres - ? Hub machining (to fit discs) - ? Brake fluid - ? As you can see there are lots of parts to get hold of so it won't be cheap. I was lucky to have a mechanic friend help me do the work which saved me a massive chunk.
