delfinis38 1 Posted October 31, 2009 If i havent started the VR for a while (I'm talking 3-4 months), she quite often sounds tappety until the engine has warmed up to about 100 degree's. after she's warm she purr's like normal. It only happens if she not been started / left for a long time. Is it Anything to worry about or is it normal as the engine has not be lubricated for a while. I know the solution is to use her more! i try to get in the habit to start her every few weeks but sometimes it never happens.
Supercharged 2 Posted October 31, 2009 Normal but I would change the oil if you've not done it recently. What grade are you using - could try a 15W in the summer
