vr6 guru 0 Posted November 20, 2009 Hey guys just quick one and I know it is a question that has been asked before. I have just fitted some audi TT comps to the corrado and of course you cannot fit the centre caps on the back. I have had people tell me that the flat plain wheel spacers are not such a good idea is they allow the wheels to twist on the bolts....? I can imagine this being the case if you have 40mm spacers :gag:. I think to fit the comps snugly and fit the centre caps would they need to be 5 or 10mm? Please can someone drop a line just to put me on the straight and narrow :D .
fla 9 Posted November 20, 2009 i run mine with 5mm spacers, although its not lowered yet (next week). Once lowered you will need a tyre with a slightly sloped sidewall to avoid arch rubbing. My rear tyres have more of a square shoulder so will have to be replaced when dropped. HTH
vr6 guru 0 Posted November 20, 2009 Cheers for the heads up mine has got 195,s stretched on so should not have too many probs with it. The moment I fitted my comps last week I stood back and said to my gf I thought it looked like a castle sat on those wheels lol :D so I think mine is going to get dropped too. Are you going for springs or coilovers???
