ELECTRIC WINDOWS

My elecric windows have packed up, ive checked the fuse and its ok and also if i put a direct live to the motors it goes up and down so ive ruled out them.

Any ideas????

There is a control unit behind the rear drivers side door card.......maybe worth a look

silly question, its not the switch playing up?

does the passenger window operate on drivers side, try bridging the switch.

one more thing, remove the door card and inspect the loom into the body, as sometimes the wiring will chaff and create an open circuit, where the rubber boot goes into the car, remove and inspect, hope this helps/

Try the windows with the drivers door open - if they work from the drivers sw with open door it's fuse 16 IIRC, weird wiring set-up sorry if you've tried this already!!
