gearbox eeeeeek noise?

everytime a change gear i get a eeeeeek squeak noise which is fairly annoying. Sounds like a door which needs oiling up i suppose? the gearbox feels really nice and solid though, perfect i would say for a car of 115,000 miles on?

 

any ideas what it could be, im sure its a matter of greasing something up

if i put my foot on the clutch it doesnt squeak, only when i move the gearstick up and down with the clutch down

try lubing that then and do a oil change in the gearbox its easy and will take you 20 mins :D

if you consider the only way to get to is is by taking off the bellhousing (gearbox) to get it

 

then yes mate a pain in the arse
