warren 0 Posted February 1, 2010 HI ALL, i have just noticed after the last couple of days, a very annoying squeak coming from the brakes when reversing. This is without touching the brake pedal, when slowing down or braking in normal driving conditions, there is also a very slight squeak, but not as loud as in reverse :confused4: any ideas? mimjed 0 Posted February 1, 2010 lots of people seem to find this, but seemeingly no real problem/solution has been found. good clean down and grease to start with see if it helps at all.

carrots 1 Posted February 1, 2010 could be your caliper sticking or a handbrake cable

mimjed 0 Posted February 1, 2010 Not massivly common but has come up a few times. Play in bearings. Warped discs. Buckled wheel. Cv joints etc
jonny-5 0 Posted February 1, 2010 Maybe try regriding a chamfer on the leading and trailing edges of the pad - helps with lots of seeming incurable brake squeaks
