jack 0 Posted February 7, 2010 Hi folks, I need to replace my ABS pressure sensor switch but cant get to it because of the accumulator. Is it just a matter of unscrewing this after reducing the pressure? the accumulator is the black bit in the pic and the pressure sensor is the gold/mustard coloured plug at the front on this pic. VRwood 0 Posted February 7, 2010 Bentley manual says disconnect battery earth and pump the pedal approx 20 times to remove pressure left in the system (until pedal gets noticeably harder to press) when working on the ABS. It also says that you can remove the switch without removing the accumulator! Doesn't mention removing the accumulator but it looks to just unscrew, says new o-ring on refitting and torque up to 45nm!
