Jim 2 Posted February 13, 2010 Just been doing the yearly drag around various sites for car insurance on the daily driver.. an old Mercedes estate car. eSure who I was with last year came back with a more expensive renewal quote than my previous years despite me having still not accumulated any points, made any claims, etc... eSure came out at £309, and the next best was Direct Line at £287... all other places seemed to come in at the same (or more) and I was resigned to having to spend £287 :( Then on a whim I went to Axa's site and almost fell off my chair when they quoted me £189! Same coverage as my other policy, just a f*ck load cheaper! Never had insurance so cheap before! Not sure what they're like for modified cars but for a daily hack, well worth a look!
