jonybravo 0 Posted February 26, 2010 Has anyone replaced the cover for the hand brake, thinking about getting this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MOMO-PITSTOP-CARB ... 00fff60c34 Anyone know how to remove the original?
GRINGOG60 0 Posted February 26, 2010 You need to first remove the hand brake handle, underneath it is a little tab that you need to hold away before it will release. I found a small flat head screwdriver rammed in there helped as they can be a bit of a stubborn fatherless child to pull off.
jonybravo 0 Posted February 26, 2010 cheers for the advice, any idea if the item (link) that I want off ebay will fit the rado? I emailed the guy and he said it was a universal fit but couldn't guarantee if it would fit a corrado :confused4:
RaddoMan 0 Posted February 26, 2010 do you mean remove the leaver? the get the driver in there?
GRINGOG60 0 Posted February 26, 2010 It´s possible it will fit but i doubt it as the corrado hand brake isnt round its slim though you might be able to get a sleave for it. I fitted the exact momo hand brake on a mates chavd up FTO and it looked pants on that so id go for a new original one if your has worn out
