Differences between early and late VR6 Accelerator Cables

I know there is some confusion about the early/late accelerator cables on the VR6. They were apparently changed over in 1995, but the chassis number on the VW parts system does not seem right, I have seen another post saying the same. My chassis number (SK002) was not listed for either cable. In then end I ordered both cables with the agreement I could return the wrong one. As i have both early and late cables, I have grabbed a couple of pictures. The part numbers are 536-721-555A and 536-721-555E. A is the early cable, E is the late. The difference is on the pedal end...

 

Each cable was £32.47 :shock:
