jack 0 Posted March 6, 2010 I was at a RR day today, got 184.5bhp @ 6075 rpm max engine power, 157.4 bhp @6075 rpm max power at wheels and 168.6 lbft @5051 rpm, all in 3 rd gear. My car is a completely standard VR6. Quite happy with that saying as a new VR6 was meant to have 190bhp.
Jim 2 Posted March 6, 2010 Even though the youngest VR6 will be 15 years old, they always seems to give consistent and near original power output at the rolling road days. It was just a good engine design that has stood the test of time over the last decade and a half!
bananawhip 0 Posted March 6, 2010 Sounds like a good result, VR's don't seem to suffer too badly from missing horses by the looks of it. What ron petrol was that using out of interest?
Pat_McCrotch 0 Posted March 6, 2010 Mine made 200.1bhp with Schimmel cams and 162,000 miles and 95RON. Was well chuffed with that
