steupton 0 Posted March 7, 2010 Major oil leak.! just gone out to the car and there a big oil patch just under the drivers side of the engine. popped the bonnet and everythin looks ok. lookin from underneath it looks to be commin from under the airbox. car is a 1.8l 16v any ideas where this could be commin from? Rustynuts 0 Posted March 7, 2010 Engine is breathing very heavily into the air intake system. If you open your airbox you will see it will be soaked in oil.
