Sam.l 0 Posted March 17, 2010 Hey all, I just wanted to ask a quick question. It seems i got some major cat screechin goin on under the bonnet on turnin, especially on parking. Am thinkin its time for a new power steering belt unless it is possible to adjust the tensioner on the existing one? Im wondering, is it a hard job to replace and where exactly am i looking for it in the engine bay? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks guys.
pummer67 0 Posted March 17, 2010 power steering belt is right at the bottom of all the pulleys on drivers side. Its under a plastic cover. I think there is 1bolt which you loosen which then allows you to pivot to either remove belt or pull tighter. You could change it in less than half hour. Sam.l 0 Posted March 17, 2010 great, thanks for posting mate. Will have a look at it on my next day off. May just replace as they're pretty cheap from GSF. Thanks again.
