triphazzard 0 Posted March 30, 2010 i just bought a 1990 corrado. before i bought it it did not start. Thinking it mat be a fuel system delivery problem.we thought ..cheap fix...fuel filter. we replaced that. cranked it for about ten min or so and it fired right up.ok test drive time.We pull out of the driveway..and it stalls.sit there and crank it for about another fifteen and starts.We drive it about ten miles or so and fill it up,put some heet in, and drive back. thinkin maybe bad gas. come to pick it up.start it up and its acting like bad gas..wont idle right.finally it evens out..thinkin maybe fuel pump. vink001956 2 fuel pumps?? take the line if in tank pump to filter and prime it..gas shot out..checked lines goin to engine..i have gas. im new to vws any feedback would help.
