what to replace to make the clutch pedal softer?

I'm starting to think that the clutch pedal is going harder every day. it returns correctly to it's original position, but if I have a long city ride my left leg feels like :pukeright:

 

 

what should I replace, and how hard is it to do it?

When was the fluid last changed?

depending on mileage and when it was last changed, i would do the lot clutch kit,which incl- pressure plate,friction plate and release bearing. but usually the diaphram on the pressure plate is what causes the heavy /hard pedal.

I replaced the whole clutch kit 60.000 miles ago, it is , 3 years ago.

 

 

so there isn't any pump or something that may have any effect on this?

the master/slave clutch cylinders do the real work once you actuate them with your left foot.

I don't know.

You asked about what components were used to pump the pedal to and thro.

If you have changed all the other components recently,i.e clucth and pressure plate then you would have to think that maybe then it is a hydraulic issue.

Do they look ok visually?

No leaking fluid?

yes they look ok, and no leaks. maybe it's normal that they are that hard... well, maybe it's not hard, but corrado normal :?

 

 

it's softer than a clio I had (year 1997, cable actuated clutch), but harder than a renault scenic (year 2007)....
