By one of our garages in the town - Hunters of Linlithgow.

Fronts (2) - £95

Rears (2) - £142

Labour 3 hours - £134

Brake fluid service - £25

 

Total - £395.

 

Ah well, when I am finished, I will have spent about £1600 in a few months. Fuel pump/big service plugs oil etc/discs/rear bearings/calipers/exhaust. Corrados, eh?

woooh! £142 for both rears, why so much more then the fronts? Where they on an exchange basis for your old ones?

I think this will be exchange. When I spoke to a VAG parts man about the prices last week I asked same question about huge price of the smaller rear calipers. He said he and colleagues were puzzled, too - "some of pricing by VAG has no rhyme or reason! :confused4: :cuckoo:
