SIMONG 0 Posted April 26, 2010 i was driven the G today and there was a slight smell of burning in the car, i was in traffic and the smell went very quickly so that was that and didnt think much else about it. it turns out that driving it later the heater blower only works on number 4 so me thinks i need a new rheostat. just wonderin if another one off a different VW will fit/work or is this specific to the rado? if so does anyone know much im lookin at for a new one? cheers si. SIMONG 0 Posted May 2, 2010 right, just had a quick look at this and to me it looks like the rheostat and heater motor are attatched together, ie the same part? is this correct or can they be seperated? think i managed to find a mk2 golf at work which im hoping this will do??
