mr_lauraj 10 Posted April 27, 2010 Finally fitting the rear beam back onto Laura's car and purchased some new nuts and bolts. However, the nut refuses to go onto the bolt very far, it's not cross threaded, it's just incredibly sticky, beyond what I think would be normal. Both nut's are exactly the same. It doesn't seem normal to me, given that they should just spin on, or is there some fancy tapered thread going on that I've not noticed? Could it be just poor machining on the nut's I've got? I know there standard M12 x 1.5 Pitch, and I've got some 10.10 stainless nut's I could use instead. Cheers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
