KR/9a dizzys the same?

Does anybody know if they are the same or do I need a KR dizzy for my KR head. The rest of the KR is a 2.0l 9a.... thanks. Currrently got my 9a dizzy on my KR head and its not firing?

i thought i'd solved my problem there. I think i'm gonna have to try the dizzy off my daily

there is 12v going to the coil and around 9v leaving it when ignition is on

i couldn't test that i was on my own, worth looking at that is it?

the easiest way to check is to have the ignition on then pull the small wire from the starter the one withthe spring clip and run a wire from battey live to the connector on the starter where the small wire goes if it starts its the switch

no joy trying that

 

Also I managed to test the voltage from the coil whilst cranking and it was 10v?
