delfinis38 1 Posted June 24, 2010 been for a spin in the car this morning only 5 miles or so to check everything is okay... I ran the Aircon, which has not been used for a while. I noticed when i turned it on a noice of maybe "sticky seals" that have not been opened for along time from beneath the glovebox. took a couple of presses of the min and max button to get some cold air out. I know you should run the aircon often to keep the seals working and have a re gas every so often... but is there any other service things to do to a diavia air-con unit fitted from new. it must be working okay i have water on the drive from the air co unit.... :D
fla 9 Posted June 24, 2010 not much, when you have it regassed, make sure that they evacuate teh system rather than just regassing it (topping up). They should also use a UV dye to check for leaks too, plus use teh correct amount of oil in the system too. usage is the most important thing. maybe check the two relays by the fan control module (under the black plastic box cover)
