nocrap 0 Posted July 17, 2010 Hey, my ABS light has been flicking on and off for a little while now since changing my rear brakes. I managed to scan it with vag-com today and it gave me this VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.0 Saturday, 17 July 2010, 10:58:18:0 Control Module Part Number: 1H0 907 379 D Component and/or Version: ABS TEVES 04 Software Coding: Work Shop Code: 3 Faults Found: 00290 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor; Rear Left (G46) 35-00 - - 00293 - Multi-function Switch (F125) 16-00 - Signal Outside Specifications 00296 - Kick-Down Switch (F8) 04-00 - Mechanical Malfunction The first is fairly self explanatory but I don't know about the other two. any assistance would be much appreciated Thanks
Supercharged 2 Posted July 17, 2010 Weird codes there mate... I would Re-Scan with Vagcom if you can and then clear them Not sure I trust VCDS tbh - You've not got a kick down switch for a start being a manual!
nocrap 0 Posted July 17, 2010 VCDS-Lite is the updated version of 4.09 so it should be fine.... i know a few codes are incorrect for example the aircon one on my golf. i'll give it a clear and scan it again after a drive
