rev gauge wiring for 1.8t agu conversion

Why do you need a converter box? Is the tach signal on CAN? If not can you not just pick up the tach signal from the ECU? What engine code is you 1.8T?

cant you find out what it is and get something similar from maplins? Surely its just a signal converter

ECU should have an 80 pin connector.

Engine speed is off Pin 6. Wire should be a 0.5mm green/brown.

cheers bud ill have a look into it, im havent got a clue why its needs one but i was told it defo does :confused4:

It might well need the signal to be amplified. I don't know what the Jabbasport adapter is, but I know that MSD make an adapter, that could be an alternative.

yeah it has thanks, i started reading that last nite when i was out of it and it completely blew me head off and i gave up :lol: got the part number for rite job now though ill have to try find a uk source of em :thumbleft:
