psiburr 0 Posted September 5, 2010 Got a weird metallic rattle coming from drivers side (I think) engine area when accelerating ( not parked up and revving ). Any ideas on cause ? I'm guessing gear linkage but would appreciate suggestions. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

psiburr 0 Posted September 6, 2010 The rattle is not always there and revs don't change the sound. Happens when driving and if I then dip the clutch and rev it it doesn't happen. The engine was rebuilt less than 20000 miles ago :confused4: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
