G60 Cooling Fan

Hi All

Does anyone have a diagram for the cooling fan, according to the Golf manual I was looking at there is a control unit for fan over run, does any one know where this is ? Also I could do with a picture of the engine bay and the wiring of the fan, Mine has been altered from the fuse box with extra relay and none if it works so want to rewire it as standard.

Ok so I'm now guessing there should be a control unit somewhere in the engine bay has anyone got a picture of it ?

Did a refurb on my radiator and replaced the sensor (thermostat) connector.

Thanks will have a read through later, did you notice any kind of control unit that make the fan run on after the ignition is turned off

No the control unit for the after fan run-on is a relay system, it's in the car down on the relay board but is one of the ones above.

ok thanks, I just have a connecter that comes from the fuse/relay( 3 pin big wires), then its been chopped and spliced into the temp switch on the radiator and also onto the fan, plus a extra fuse connector straight onto the battery. Do you know which relay controls the fan, I wonder if its missing from mine.

Can anyone take a photo of there wiring from the fan and thermoswitch for me please so I can see where all the wire should go.
