k4na.x 0 Posted October 26, 2010 hello... as in the title as of today my car has started whining from the passengers front wheel area. It whines all the time as i drive with a sound of rubbing at the same time should i say. (it's a bit hard to describe). Bit dark now so cannot check but any ideas? i'm thinking bearing, brakes rubbing at one spot, maybe driveshaft? any help is appreciated. cheerssss

colinstubbs 0 Posted October 26, 2010 i meant if it had been rubbing on bodywork by the way. Could the suspension have collapsed/failed and caused the tyre to rub?? Hope not..

k4na.x 0 Posted October 27, 2010 ok well i woke up to what looked like a flat-ish tyre so replaced it and the noise has gone. checked the wheel and all other surfaces and no rubbing marks so not sure what is was really as tyre wasn't close to being completely flat at all. strangeee
