Jim 2 Posted October 27, 2010 On the 16V I fill up via the expansion tank and squeeze the top radiator hose regularly to burp the system. I then get the engine running and let it start to get up to temperature, again squeezing the top hose periodically to burp it and help push water round, topping up if the level starts to drop. Once the car starts to get up to temperature and the water is steaming from the expansion tank I stick the cap on and take it for a run with a spare bottle of premixed G12+ :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

lockwood 0 Posted October 30, 2010 All sorted now took the overflow return pipe to the rad off and cleaned it out then put a bit of wire in the hole for the rad. It let a load of air out.
