Yandards 0 Posted November 3, 2010 Where can i buy a blow off valve or something similar to give me the (whoosh) sound on my G60? Don't bother. It stops the charger being lubricated by crankcase oil and blow off valves induce shock loading into the charger system which is likely to nurf your charger. Riley 0 Posted November 7, 2010 Meh...I've been running the full blend charger for years without the boost return, and without lube. Still gives 14/15 psi all day long. The lube was the worst thing i ever used to be honest, it clogged all up the expensive porting in the charger over time rendering it pointless. Said it before but im sure Vw didn't build the engine to breathe heavily/randomly to lubricate the charger scroll, the apex strips are self lubricating. I'd say it was more to do with not dumping dirty fumes into the atmosphere. This is how to remove the boost return, It's up to you whether or not you do so of course... Neil.
