jonnyoutram 0 Posted November 16, 2010 hi, im having all sorts of miss fireing/ bad idleing problems. i know i need an icv and im just wondering if anyone knows if these are the same on a vr6 as on any other vw's.... for example mk2 golf or rado 16v??? only wondering this as a friend once found one in another friends garage and it seemed to fix his icv problem when it packed up!! it was strance cos the garage we found it in had never seen a vr6, it had only seen a mk2 8v!!! Kevin Bacon 5 Posted November 16, 2010 The VR6 one is Bosch no - 0280 140 512 I'm sure other VAGs and I think some Vauxhalls use it also, but not the 8 or 16V unfortunately!
