bhhjor 0 Posted January 20, 2011 All, been trying to get the c back on the road after the snow. The start problems I thought were the cold start valve. By unhooking it works fine so looks like the temp senders. Took off and went to GSF and Eurocp with the codes. However the newone ain't like the old one - see pics. Question - is there a bit you can add to the new one? Looked at electrical spades crimps etc but none seem big enough. What I thought was simple is really :censored: me off. Any ideas? boost monkey 0 Posted January 20, 2011 I've done those on my head before. IIRC, instead of pushing the spade onto the flat connector inline with the sensor, you slide it on at 90 degrees (across the top flat) and it should still work fine. No idea why they changed them. If the spade doesn't fit, you might need to replace the wire connector but it isn't too hard.
krnau 0 Posted January 20, 2011 my kr has the round cap type senders. All you have to do is what boostmonkey says.
