plesident 10 Posted February 17, 2011 I just picked up the car for $500 because it didnt run and the guy didnt know what the internet was. the car wasnt getting any spark out of the coil so i replaced the hall sender and am now getting spark and fuel to all cylinders. The car cranks for a while before it starts and sometimes wont idle on its own. 800 rpm at full throttle and sometimes it clears up and idles on its own with very slow response. about 10 seconds for the car to rev up to 3000. It starts better when its cold. Any ideas? i have already set the distributor at what i think is the best position when the car was idling on its own.
