Samaj 0 Posted March 31, 2011 I have a 92 VR6 US spec with 126,000 KM on the cllock. The car is mechanically sound but the AC just about blows ambient air. Barely cool. Want to keep the car provided the AC can keep me cool when its 42 degree outside in city driving. My quetion before i spent a lot of money. Is the original AC (when services , checked for any leaks etc) capable of keeping the occupants cool compared to the current generation cars?
quicky1980 0 Posted March 31, 2011 I find the search feature useful ;-) http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?54896-How-cold-is-your-aircon-in-Corrado Yours should be better than the RHD air con systems as yours would be original dealer fit (should be anyway), the RHD were an aditional bit fitted by Diava. Diesel Junior 0 Posted March 31, 2011 Samaj my VR6 has factory fit AC (was bought in Germany) and i can tell you that here in Spain its up to the job no problem. It is a simplistic system in comparison with the climatronics of this world but i was in Seville last year when it was over 40 deg and car was nice and cold inside (engine wasn't tho!!!). get it re gassed mate and you will be ok.
