Tedb 0 Posted April 8, 2011 How is the idle in a 2.0l set after installing a New Air Flow Meter?, I've read several threads on the forum which point out that the idle in a 2.0l 16v is factory set and cant be adjusted via any idle screws, is this correct? I fitted a New Air Flow Meter some weeks ago and the car keeps cutting out in Traffic. If the idle has to be set by someone with specialist equipment, what do they adjust and where? Thanks Guys
aide 0 Posted April 8, 2011 only the fuel metering isn't supposed to be adjusted on the 2l, the idle air can be adjusted by the screw on the throttle body.
Tedb 0 Posted April 9, 2011 Thanks for response, can you point me in the right direction as to where this screw is located on throttle body? Cheers
