mimjed 0 Posted April 10, 2011 give us a clue chap. what engine for a start? ill guess at a late valver. any symptoms before this? and have you been changing other parts? whip the ht leads off and look for a spark. loosen the pipe that connects to the fpr and see if fuel squirts out. check voltage on battery. take oil filler cap off and look for mayo..... Abdul 0 Posted April 10, 2011 Early vote/suggestion for ignition switch. Yup, im with you on this... i had the same problem on my last valver.
mimjed 0 Posted April 11, 2011 agreed, ignition switch is high on the likely list. coils are utter crap on the 8v's so not a bad thing you changed it. rw1, you clearly have more time on your hands than i do.
