carrots 1 Posted April 11, 2011 ive been thinking about the knocking noise i get from my os suspension.i am wondering if the nut on the top of the strut needs to be a bit tighter.its got 2 slits in it and most prob you should have a special tool to tighten it.how tight should it be
mimjed 0 Posted April 11, 2011 Slotted nuts do indeed want to be tight, you can buy the tool from gsf about £12 for
Supercharged 2 Posted April 11, 2011 The castleated nuts were not used on the Corrado, only the MK2
boost monkey 0 Posted April 11, 2011 30lbft and Bentley says they were used on the C, at least in the USA. I'm pretty sure I had some when I pur the Gas VR6s on the Plum.

mikkijayne 0 Posted April 11, 2011 The castleated nuts were not used on the Corrado, only the MK2 Yes they were ;) Definitely on G60 and 16V with 4-bolt suspension. I've only seen the other type of top mounts on VR6s.
