SIMONG 0 Posted April 25, 2011 gonna be getting a bit of a service done on the G and im gonna do cambelt and water pump at the same time. was gonna get a gates cam belt kit, would others recommend any thing different? also what about water pump? would you guys go for VW one or a motorfactor one? already bought a new "non stretch" crank bolt and washer for this to! cheers Si. SIMONG 0 Posted April 26, 2011 nice one cheers for the info i'll give the stealers a ring and go from there. according to my "VW parts club" book (which i didnt think to look in): cam belt kits retail at £28.50 and the parts club price is £18.35 and water pumps retail at £29 and the parts club price is £21.39 which is a lot cheaper than i thought i Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
