I have a distributor from a 9a 16V which is in good working order £30 plus p&p £11 for DHL next day service. But before you spend out again are you sure you have connected the HT leads correctly and set the static and dynamic timing to specification? GSF parts are often the subject of individuals frustration, in fairness however, this part you have bought if fitted correctly should be ok.

Thanks for the reply. I fitted the new distributer but runs really bad (un drivable)

I connected the ht leads back on the same way as they were before. But.

What is the static and dynamic timing specification?

If anybody could help with some info on this would be much appreciated?

Thanks Nath

Did you literally just remove one distributor and fit the other? You do know that the "angle" of the distributor is what governs the timing of the engine? It sounds to me like you may have just removed and refitted and now your timing is MILES out...
