MikeVR6 0 Posted May 23, 2011 As usual my Corrado has picked a great moment to go faulty. 31 degrees is predicted on Thursday and my aircon has gone tits. The mechanic had a look today, the compressor is making a rattling noise on tickover and gas leaks from it when he tried to refill the system. Anyone know where I can get a new one? The local AC specialist here wants €455 just for the part plus fitting which will no doubt be another €500. I figure I can replace it myself and the mechanic will regass it for €30.
