aide 0 Posted August 7, 2011 well documented on here mate, go for OEM. febi are ok for a lot of stuff, but for bearings i wouldn't risk it.
vw_john 10 Posted August 7, 2011 where can i get oem parts from? is the stuff from euros any good?
aide 0 Posted August 7, 2011 oem as in original from the dealer/ vag item :) plenty of pattern part stuff is fine, really depends what it is. try the search, you'll see plenty of threads abour rear bearings.
VWVW 1 Posted August 7, 2011 See if you have a TPS branch near you who supply the VW dealeship and is OEM stuff. Sometimes they will sell to the public it varies from branch to branch. Just ask for a cash sale. If you buy from the dealer its 26.12+VAT each. However if you can get it from TPS its 18.28+VAT each. However when you buy from TPS it comes with other bits as part of a complete repair kit whereas I think if you buy from the dealer the price is just for the bearings. Supercharged 2 Posted August 7, 2011 Same boxed kit from VW or TPS - most VW dealers will give a 20% discount on parts like this but you find they don't keep them instock now whereas TPS do.
