vw_john 10 Posted August 12, 2011 when bleeding the brakes I went through about 500ml of brake fluid and was still getting air, loosening the nipple pumping clutch tightening nipple and releasing clutch. how much fluid am i expected to go through? Wullie 1 Posted August 12, 2011 On the 1.8 16v there is an additional bleed nipple just after the master cylinder which needs bleeding as well. Air gathers at the high point of the piping and this is too clear that.
