sengelow 0 Posted September 1, 2011 I've seen this in the parts section, http://www.the-corrado.net/classifieds.php?do=viewitem&itemid=820 and was wondering if a 93 manifiold would fit my 95 VR6. I don't think it will but I thought I'd make sure.
nrc 0 Posted September 1, 2011 If your 95 VR6 is OBD1 it should bolt straight on. If it's OBD2 I believe you'll need a different throttle body mounting and there's a chance it won't have provision for all the required sensors. You can check which OBD yours is by lifting the gearstick surround and looking at the diagnostic port. 2 small connectors is OBD1, a single large connector is OBD2. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly to give you a proper answer!
swiftkid 1 Posted September 1, 2011 (edited) All Corrado's are obd1 unless they have been converted and all VR's have large connectors. If you want to double check yours is obd1 pop the bonnet and check if the inlet pipe (pipe between throttle body and maf) has 1 pipe or 2 pipes coming from it, if its got 2 then it will fit. If its got 1 then big smiles, you have a better engine management system! If I make no sense, check this thread Edited September 1, 2011 by swiftkid
