daves16v 1 Posted September 3, 2011 Noticed a rattling noise on my VR, upon closer inspection I spotted the water pump pulley wobbling slightly consistent with the rattle, does this mean the pulley is buggered or the water pump? Not difficult to do. did you have any problems with any of the bolts being seized? thats the only thing putting me off doing mine, it doesnt need to be done its just i like things like that to be replaced before problems start occureing. Toohottotrot 10 Posted September 3, 2011 No everything came off fine, new pump was £25 off ebay, genuine one with metal impeller. Prob a 2 hour job if its the first time, 1 hour max once you know how. I can give you a simple list of what to do if you need it. Probably already on here but I couldn't find it, if it is.
