ray_vr6 1 Posted September 25, 2011 Hi I’ve Just taken my 16v off the road for the winter to carry out some much needed and also some desired changes. One of the tasks is to fit the new centre console area with the radio repositioned to ashtray area, Polo cup holders fitted in its place and auxiliary gauges fitted in the cubby hole (oil pressure and voltage). I think I have everything I need but wondered what type of wire I should be using to run the gauges, relocate the cigarette lighter (only as a power source) etc. TIA

ray_vr6 1 Posted September 25, 2011 Thanks for the link - good info but will buy else where due to their racist delivery policy!
andycowuk 0 Posted September 25, 2011 Just go to maplin Ray, assuming your location is accurate, there's one in Gorgie with parking, and there's one in livi too if you are out that way. You can buy it in pre-cut lengths or get it off the reel in mtrs; best price depends how much you need.... hth Andrew
ray_vr6 1 Posted September 26, 2011 Thanks Andrew - I need a few other bits and pieces and I guess Maplin would be a good place to get everything. Cheers Ray
